Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of the Arepo platform and related services ("Services") provided by FR&D LLC. This AUP applies to all clients and, through Client's obligation to enforce compliance, to all end users who interact with the Services through Client's deployed AI agents.
By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. This AUP is incorporated by reference into your Master Services Agreement or other governing agreement with FR&D.
2. General Prohibited Uses
2.1 Illegal Activity
- Engaging in or facilitating any activity that violates applicable law or regulation.
- Processing data in violation of data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
- Using the Services in connection with money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion.
2.2 Harassment and Abuse
- Generating content that threatens, harasses, or incites violence against any individual or group.
- Using the Services to stalk, dox, or invade privacy.
- Deploying AI agents that engage in discriminatory conduct.
2.3 Spam and Unsolicited Communications
- Sending unsolicited bulk messages through any integrated channel.
- Harvesting contact information without consent.
- Circumventing opt-out mechanisms or unsubscribe requests.
2.4 Unauthorized Access and System Abuse
- Attempting unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or infrastructure.
- Automated scraping or data extraction except as expressly permitted.
- Introducing malicious code into the Services.
- Denial-of-service attacks or load testing without written authorization.
- Reverse engineering any component of the Services.
2.5 Competitive Misuse
- Using the Services for benchmarking or developing a competing product without consent.
- Reselling or redistributing access except as authorized.
3. AI-Specific Prohibitions
3.1 Deceptive and Misleading Content
- Generating deepfakes or synthetic media intended to deceive.
- Using AI agents to impersonate real individuals or organizations.
- Deploying AI agents that misrepresent themselves as human without disclosure.
- Generating fraudulent reviews or testimonials.
3.2 Professional Advice Without Disclaimers
- Using AI outputs as legal, medical, financial, or tax advice without clear disclaimers.
- Deploying AI agents in regulated domains without appropriate safeguards and human oversight.
3.3 Model and System Integrity
- Attempting to extract model weights, training data, or proprietary algorithms.
- Attempting to extract system prompts or configuration of other clients' agents.
- Prompt injection attacks, jailbreaking, or circumventing safety filters.
- Using outputs to train competing AI models except as permitted.
3.4 Automated Decision-Making
- Using AI outputs as the sole basis for decisions with legal or significant effects on individuals without meaningful human review.
4. Content Restrictions
Absolutely Prohibited Content: Child sexual abuse material, instructions for weapons or mass harm, content facilitating human trafficking, and non-consensual intimate imagery. Violations may result in immediate termination and reporting to law enforcement.
4.2 Restricted Content
- Systematic personal data harvesting without lawful basis.
- Content designed to manipulate elections or democratic processes.
- Content that promotes self-harm or suicide.
5. Rate Limiting and Fair Use
The Services are subject to rate limits and usage quotas as defined in your service plan. Clients must not circumvent rate limits through multiple accounts, credential rotation, or request distribution. FR&D may throttle or restrict access if usage threatens platform stability.
6. Client Responsibility for End Users
Client is responsible for ensuring end users comply with this AUP, including:
- Communicating usage restrictions to end users.
- Implementing appropriate content moderation.
- Promptly addressing reports of violations.
7. Consequences of Violation
7.1 Progressive Enforcement
- Warning. Written notice with a reasonable cure period (typically 5 business days).
- Suspension. Temporary suspension of access, with or without prior notice.
- Termination. Immediate termination for severe, repeated, or uncured violations.
7.2 Immediate Action
FR&D may bypass progressive enforcement and immediately suspend or terminate access for violations involving absolutely prohibited content, imminent risk of harm, legal liability exposure, or court/regulatory orders.
8. Reporting Violations
Report violations to [email protected] with the subject line "AUP Violation Report." Include a description of the violation, supporting evidence, and contact information. FR&D will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days.
9. Changes to This Policy
FR&D may modify this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
